JETAANSW earns the General Consul's Commendation
At this year's Farewell Reception for the 2016 JETs, JETAANSW (Sydney, Australia) was awarded the Consul-General's Commendation in recognition of the chapter's work in supporting Japan-Australia relations.

Also recognised was Dr Rowena Ward, who was a JET herself in the 1990's, and she paid tribute to past teachers and JTEs that she had worked with.
The President of JETAANSW, Eden Law, thanked the Consul-General Mr Masato Takaoka for the recognition, but also paid tribute to all past committees and the JET alumni community for being part of JETAANSW's activities for the last 30 years. Here's to the next 30 years in the chapter's history.
