Ryan Hata

My name is Ryan Hata and I am currently on the Board of Advisors for the JETAA-I. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, I've lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California before applying for the JET Program. Fun fact, Xander was one of my interviewers in San Francisco. After successfully passing the interview stage, I found out I would be placed in Tottori, Japan, where I was an ALT from 2014 to 2017, before moving to New York to pursue an advanced degree in Higher and Post-secondary Education.

 

In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, hiking, and traveling. I am excited to continue working with wonderful people for the betterment of JETs and the JET Program.
