Hello, my name is Alexandre Augusto Varone de Morais. I’m from São Paulo, Brazil. I was on JET as a CIR in Shizuoka Prefecture (Shizuoka City) from 2012 to 2017.
My career before JET was in the field of translation (Japanese & Portuguese) and teaching of Japanese Language in Brazil. I like calligraphy and karate. Working and living in Japan (especially in Shizuoka) through JET was a wonderful experience in so many ways. As a representative of Brazil chapter, I want to support JET Programme by promoting goodwill and cross-cultural exchange.
