Sven Traschewski

Guten Tag from Berlin, the capital of Germany! My name is Sven Traschewski, I am the Country Representative of the German JETAA Chapter – a "small" chapter with about 300 members. I was a CIR in the International Relations Department of the City of Sapporo from 2006 to 2010 and am currently working at the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB). 2019 marks the anniversary of Germany having joined the JET Programme 30 years ago, at the same time 1989 also marks the anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down. Just like the JET Programme and the German people I hope all of us active in JETAA activities will continue tearing down walls between people all over the world!
