Kendra Sim

Hello, I’m Kendra Sim, the Country Representative for JETAA New Zealand. I was an ALT in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture from 2015 to 2017 and had the most amazing time of my life! I’ve learnt a lot about myself, built some incredible friendships and visited many beautiful places. I’m very thankful for the experiences I’ve had and would not be the person I am today. 

I joined the Auckland Chapter of JETAA upon returning to New Zealand. I’m very grateful to still be able to be in touch with the people who has been on JET with me, provide support for those currently in Japan and help those who will be going onto JET in the future. As the Country Representative of New Zealand, I keep in contact with the three chapters and one sub-chapter of JETAA in New Zealand; have a great relationship with the chapters in Australia with annual meets during JETAA Oceania members.
