Country Representative (SCO)
Hello! I was an ALT on the JET Programme from 2006 to 2009 in Iwate prefecture. The three years I spent in Japan were the best of my life, allowing me to learn Japanese, travel the beautiful country and indulge my passion for drumming with traditional Taiko and Japanese dance. Iwate is such a beautiful corner of the country and I have been back to visit several times. Since returning to Scotland in 2010 and starting my career in marketing and market research I have been active in the JETAA chapter, taking on various officer roles including Chair and Treasurer and am excited to be representing Scotland within JETAA-I.
It's always wonderful being able to connect with JET alumni from across the globe, and I look forward to continuing that work.
