Jess Blincowe

Hi, my name is Jess and I am the country representative for England and Wales. I was a high-school ALT in Yamaguchi prefecture from 2016-2018. After JET I stayed in Japan to go to language school and returned to the UK in 2019 where I studied fir my Masters in Cross cultural communication and supplied linguistics.

I got involved in JETAA and re-established the North East chapter in late 2019, which I currently chair. Our chapter focuses on a mix of langage learning and different Japanese crafts. I was the UK vice chair for 2021-2022 and I am excited to now be a country rep on JETAA-I. よろしくお願いします。
